:I think anything over 45 over the limit is considered "intent to do bodily harm" or maybe its 50, dunno. Some laws are absolutely senseless. While the act of excessively speeding isn't that smart, it doesn't give politicians a blank check to fabricate any charge they want. Sort of like if you kick someone with your foot, that can be "assault with a deadly weapon". How they came up with that one, I have no idea.
